The Ramon Molinas Foundation collaborated with the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) with the objective of developing #SpinUOC 2022, an initiative which promotes innovation, the transfer of knowledge and entrepreneurship in the UOC community.

Programme to evaluate and improve the cross-disciplinary screening tools at Aimentia Health

The Ramon Molinas Foundation is collaborating with Aimentia HealthTech with the aim of evaluating and improving the virtual clinic’s cross-disciplinary screening tools designed for healthcare professionals in the mental health sector, and their patients.

Research programme to test, develop, and consolidate SeniorDomo

The Ramon Molinas Foundation launched and sponsorised a research programme with the aim of testing, developing, and consolidating SeniorDomo, an innovative home telecare device that enables older people to live in their own homes for longer in a non-intrusive way. The initiative was a collaboration with the Independent Living Association.

Newton ONE

The Ramon Molinas Foundation collaborated with the Institute of Robotics for Dependency with the aim of developing Newton ONE, a cloud service software that allows organisations in the care and support sector to automate the collection of objective and continuous data on the quality of life of people that use their care services.

RMF: Scholarship in English for young adults at the British Council 2020-2021

The Ramon Molinas Foundation provided scholarships to enrol the ‘RMF: Scholarship in English for young adults at the British Council 2020-2021’, a program that aims to promote the learning and improving English skills of high-achieving university students in Barcelona that from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds.

Programme to Improve Laundry ID

The Ramon Molinas Foundation has collaborated with The Institute of Robotics for Dependency with aim of improving Laundry ID, a laundrette that is inclusive, environmentally friendly and ergonomic, to support the employment of people with disabilities.

‘Anne Topping Prize for professional career in a technological field 2019

The Ramon Molinas Foundation and the Information Technology, Multimedia and Telecommunications (EIMT) department at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) will award the ‘Anne Topping Prize for professional career in a technological field’. The award will recognise, celebrate and award a woman with a long professional career in technology, acknowledging the success and prominence she has achieved in her commitment to the field. The award is part of the Equit@t Prize.

The Ramon Molinas Foundation Chair for Innovation in Applied Health Technologies (CINTAS-RMF)

The Ramon Molinas Foundation supported a research carried out by the La Salle Centre for Higher University Studies with the objective of analysing the clinical benefits of using videogames in children and young people with cerebral palsy as a new rehabilitation therapy.

The Ramon Molinas Foundation provided scholarships for ‘RMF: Scholarship in English for young adults at the British Council 2017-2018’, a programme which aims to encourage high-achieving, motivated university students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds to learn or improve on their English.

eKauri, programme researching a home teleassistance platform for the elderly

The Ramon Molinas Foundation sponsored a research programme launched by the Association for Independent Living and Eurecat (Catalonia Technology Centre) with the collaboration from the Catalonia Alzheimer Foundation. The aim of the project was to develop and consolidate eKauri, an innovative home teleassistance platform that non-intrusively monitors the wellbeing of people living alone.

RMF: Scholarship in English for young adults at the British Council 2017

The Ramon Molinas Foundation offered grants entitled RMF: Scholarship in English for young learners at the British Council´. The programme promotes the continued education of advanced English to encourage social integration of academically high-acheiving young people from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds.

Study of the prevalence of child hemiparesis in Spain

The Ramon Molinas Foundation sponsored a research project launched by the María Agustí Foundation and Hemiweb, and carried out by Sant Joan de Déu Hospital and Barcelona Children’s Hospital, with the aim of estimating for the first time the prevalence of child hemiparesis in Spain.

RMF: Scholarship in English for young learners at the British Council 2016-2017

The Ramon Molinas Foundation and the British Council, with the collaboration of the Government of Catalonia Department of Education, offered for the third consecutive year grants to enrol in RMF: Scholarship in English for young learners at the British Council, a programme which encourages continued training in the English language, directed at young people with talent but come from disadvantaged economic backgrounds.

Third UOC-RMF Prizes

The Ramon Molinas Foundation and the Open University of Catalonia are holding the third year of UOC-RMF Prizes. The prizes recognise the best projects of students studying Information Technology, Multimedia and Telecommunications at the UOC, with the objective of promoting technological and scientific entrepreneurship.
