The Ramon Molinas Foundation provided scholarships for ‘RMF: Scholarship in English for young adults at the British Council 2017-2018’, a programme which aims to encourage high-achieving, motivated university students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds to learn or improve on their English.
eKauri, programme researching a home teleassistance platform for the elderly
The Ramon Molinas Foundation sponsored a research programme launched by the Association for Independent Living and Eurecat (Catalonia Technology Centre) with the collaboration from the Catalonia Alzheimer Foundation. The aim of the project was to develop and consolidate eKauri, an innovative home teleassistance platform that non-intrusively monitors the wellbeing of people living alone.
RMF: Scholarship in English for young adults at the British Council 2017
The Ramon Molinas Foundation offered grants entitled RMF: Scholarship in English for young learners at the British Council´. The programme promotes the continued education of advanced English to encourage social integration of academically high-acheiving young people from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds.
Study of the prevalence of child hemiparesis in Spain
The Ramon Molinas Foundation sponsored a research project launched by the María Agustí Foundation and Hemiweb, and carried out by Sant Joan de Déu Hospital and Barcelona Children’s Hospital, with the aim of estimating for the first time the prevalence of child hemiparesis in Spain.
RMF: Scholarship in English for young learners at the British Council 2016-2017
The Ramon Molinas Foundation and the British Council, with the collaboration of the Government of Catalonia Department of Education, offered for the third consecutive year grants to enrol in RMF: Scholarship in English for young learners at the British Council, a programme which encourages continued training in the English language, directed at young people with talent but come from disadvantaged economic backgrounds.
Third UOC-RMF Prizes
The Ramon Molinas Foundation and the Open University of Catalonia are holding the third year of UOC-RMF Prizes. The prizes recognise the best projects of students studying Information Technology, Multimedia and Telecommunications at the UOC, with the objective of promoting technological and scientific entrepreneurship.
