RMF: Scholarship in english for young adults at the British Council 2017

The Ramon Molinas Foundation offer the RMF: Scholarship in English for young learners at the British Council which promotes the continued education of advanced English to encourage the social integration of academically high-acheiving young people from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds.

Throughout the second semester of 2017, the recipients of the BAC Scholarships will participate in a programme consisting of a total of 40 hours of personalised English language classes at the British Council’s centre in Barcelona. Launched by BarcelonActua, the BAC Scholarships help talented and motivated students that aren’t able to go on to study at university due to socioeconomic difficulties.

The students awarded the RMF: Scholarship in English for young adults at the British Council will be able to take advantage of the classes to learn and improve their English language skills. Aside from personal development, the program will also provide students with the tools to communicate and interact with the international community.

The British Council was created in 1934 in the United Kingdom with the aim of promoting knowledge of the English language to encourage cultural, technological and scientific cooperation on a global scale. Awarded the Prince of Asturias Award for Communication and Humanities in the year 2005, it offers courses in English at all levels, helping students to progress from the basics until they reach the level required to aim for the Proficiency qualification awarded by the examining board Cambridge English. Students in the programme will learn how to express themselves in English in real situations, as part of personalised classes with native teachers.
