RMF: English Scholarship for young learners at the British Council

The Ramon Molinas Foundation and the British Council, in collaboration with the Department of Education of the government of Catalonia, offered 25 scholarships to study the RMF: English Scholarship for young learners at the British Council, a programme aimed at talented young people who live in difficult socioeconomic conditions and which promotes the learning of the English language.

Aspace Resources and Assistive Technology Centre (CRA) improvement programme

The Ramon Molinas Foundation collaborated with the organisation Aspace, with the objective of improving the quality of life of people who suffer from cerebral palsy by utilising the benefits of assistive technology.

Opening Doors, social care program, and empowerment of women in poverty

The Ramon Molinas Foundation renewed its collaboration agreement with the Surt Foundation to develop a social care and empowerment programme aimed at women in situations of poverty. The activity was set up to improve the quality of life of the beneficiaries by covering their basic needs and providing them with the tools needed to become autonomous.

Social and educative Futsal, Asociación Deportiva Babar (Sports Association Babar)

The Ramon Molinas Foundation has extended the collaboration it began in 2012 with the Pare Manel Foundation. This time, the RMF was responsible for almost one third of the annual budget of the Babar Sports Association, a project aimed at promoting the social integration of children and young people through the practice of indoor football.

Program for patients at end stage of life with social needs

The Ramon Molinas Foundation has extended its agreement with the Paliaclinic Foundation to accompany patients in the final stage of their life. On this occasion, the collaboration meant that the scope of the Paliaclinic Foundation could be widened to include a new sector of the city of Barcelona: the Mountain (North) Primary Care System.

Scholarship program for the Therapeutic Care Service (SAT) of Aspanias

The Ramon Molinas Foundation has subsidised nine grants to families in financial difficulties, enabling them to benefit from the therapeutic care service (SAT) of the Aspanias association in Barcelona. The programme promotes the social integration of children and youths aged 18 or under who have some type of intellectual disability or developmental problem.

15/09/2014. The centre, run by Caritas Diocesan of Barcelona, was set up for expecting women and mothers with children under three who are at risk of social exclusion.

New technologies and social exclusion

Ramon Molinas Foundation cooperates with Fundación Apip-Acam in order to bring closer new information and communication technologies to all their users. The initiative intends to promote social and labor integration of those collectives at risk of social exclusion and that at the same time form the framework of those people affected by the digital gap.

To improve the facilities of the La Gavina Occupational Centre

The Ramon Molinas Foundation contributed to the improvement of the facilities of the La Gavina Occupational Centre, run by the Esmen Foundation in Barcelona. The objective of the centre is to encourage the social and labour integration of people with intellectual disabilities through acquiring good work habits and developing their skills and abilities.

The UOC-RMF Awards

The Ramon Molinas Foundation and the Open University of Catalonia announce the first annual UOC-RMF awards to recognise work from the best final projects in degree-final projects, all engineering degrees or university Master’s degrees in Computer Studies, Multimedia y Telecommunications at this university.

25/06/2014. A jury will decide on the winning award for student finalists from Computer, Multimedia and Telecommunication programmes at the Open University of Catalonia.

Manyanet Educa

Ramon Molinas Foundation provided scholarships in order to promote exchange programs of students from seven Pare Manyanet centers of Barcelona. The initiative was intended to help those students from families who suffer from economic difficulties so that they do not miss the opportunity of training abroad during a determinate period of time.

Support for the education of students from families with financial difficulties

Ramon Molinas Foundation provided scholarships for the schooling of students from families who suffer from economic difficulties from the Dominicas Private Foundation of Education of Barcelona. The performance sheltered a total of 15 families and enabled to help paying the schooling, the expenses related to the school dining room, or the amount of extra-curricular activities of the beneficiary students.

RMF and Willow Project perform 1,210 counselling sessions to palliate the havoc of alcoholism in Wigan
