Families without financial resources will be benefited during a year from the services of SAT of Aspanias.
The Ramon Molinas Foundation has extended the collaboration with the association Aspanias. After contributing with the rehabilitation of the Therapeutic Care Service (SAT) that Aspanias has inaugurated recently in Barcelona, The RMF has decided to give continuity to the project subsidizing nine annual scholarships to families without financial resources. The RMF will pay the amount of the cost of the annual treatment at the SAT in order to promote the social integration of children and adolescents under 18 who suffer from some development disorder or intellectual disability.
The scholarships, that have a unit cost of 2,543 euros, include a package of sessions which includes a welcome visit, a weekly therapy during a year, two monitoring visits with a neuropediatrician, and an epicritic report.
A committee formed by a social worker, the technical director of the SAT, and the manager of Aspanias, will select the families that best suit the profile of the call among all the applicants. The selection process will be reflected transparently on the web page of the association.
