Supporting the schooling of children with financial difficulties

The Ramon Molinas Foundation has renewed its collaboration with the Dominicas de la Enseñanza institution in Barcelona and is supporting students whose families suffer from financial hardship. The programme, carried out through the Dominicas de la Enseñanza Educational Foundation corresponding to the school year 2014/2015, has helped families located by the social services and by the Department of Educational Psychology and Social Orientation to take on the costs of schooling, as well as related expenditures such as school meals and extracurricular activities, at nursery, primary, secondary and baccalaureate level.

The objective of the collaboration between the two institutions was to provide the resources needed to help students whose families suffer from financial difficulties, so that the students are able to reach their full potential at school. A total of ten families benefited from the programme which was adapted to grades of necessity.
