The home facilitates lodging for women at risk of social exclusion or abused.

Ramon Molinas Foundation will collaborate along 2013 with the Gavines Long Stay Shelter, a center of Cáritas Diocesana of Barcelona. The home is conceived for pregnant women who are in the last period of gestation, or with children, and at risk of social exclusion or abused. Besides, the center also includes aid for those women that for different reasons have difficulties in taking care of themselves and their children.

The center has a maximum capacity for 12 families -36 people- organized in six living units. The average time of stay is between 12-18 months. The aim of the Long Stay Shelter is to facilitate a safe environment to the beneficiaries and their children, guarantee their basic needs, and provide comprehensive support so that they can reach a certain level of autonomy to enable themselves to live with dignity.
