Aspanias Therapeutic Care Service (SAT), grant programme 2016

The Ramon Molinas Foundation offered seven grants for economically disadvantaged families to benefit for a year from the Therapeutic Care Service (SAT) that the Aspanias organisation runs in Barcelona. The programme works to encourage the social integration of children and young people under 18 years old who suffer from an intellectual disability or a developmental disorder.

The winners presented a paintbrush that allows you to interact with reality in real time and in a virtual environment; an educational, domestic robot based on open-source software designed to bring robots into schools; and a laser system that exterminates the parasites that are contributing to the extinction of bees.

Sirga. Shelter, recovery and empowerment for women victims of gender-based violence

The Ramon Molinas Foundation collaborated with Surt Foundation to launch Sirga, a refuge shelter for the recovery and empowerment of women, and their children, who suffer from or have been victims of gender-based violence and forced to leave their domestic home.

RMF: Scholarship in English for young learners at the British Council 2016-2017

The Ramon Molinas Foundation and the British Council, with the collaboration of the Government of Catalonia Department of Education, offered for the third consecutive year grants to enrol in RMF: Scholarship in English for young learners at the British Council, a programme which encourages continued training in the English language, directed at young people with talent but come from disadvantaged economic backgrounds.

The programme ‘Private classes for university students with financial difficulties who need academic support’ is now open for applications

The digital world for integration, providing training in computer skills

The Ramon Molinas Foundation collaborated with the Apip-Acam Foundation with the aim of providing training in information and communication technology to reduce the digital divide of groups at risk of social exclusion.

Aspace Resources and Assistive Technology Centre (CRA) improvement programme

The Ramon Molinas Foundation had renewed its collaboration with the association Aspace with the objective of improving the quality of life for children with cerebral palsy thanks to the benefits of assistive technology.

The third year of the UOC-RMF Prizes will encourage technological and scientific entrepreneurship

Third UOC-RMF Prizes

The Ramon Molinas Foundation and the Open University of Catalonia are holding the third year of UOC-RMF Prizes. The prizes recognise the best projects of students studying Information Technology, Multimedia and Telecommunications at the UOC, with the objective of promoting technological and scientific entrepreneurship.  

Babar Sports Association, socio-educative futsal (indoor football) 2015-2016

The Ramon Molinas Foundation consolidated its collaboration with the Pare Manel Foundation and with the Babar Sports Association in order to encourage the social integration of children and young people of the Barcelona district of Nou Barris through playing futsal (indoor football).
