The application period opens today and ends on the 20^th July.

The Ramon Molinas Foundation is providing eight grants for students to study the inter-university Master in Technological Information and Communications Security (MISTIC) developed by the Open University of Catalonia. From today until the 20^th July, university graduates in the fields of information technology or communication interested in studying the programme of study can send in their application to receive one of these grants.

For the second year running, the grant programme will offer a place on the Master in Technological Information and Communications Security (MISTIC) to the strongest eight applications. 50% of the cost of the grant, with a total value of 3,000 euros, will be awarded to the winners on enrolment. The remaining 50% will be awarded when they complete their studies, on the condition that they pass the master’s course.

The inter-university Master in Technological Information and Communications Security (MISTIC) provides academically rigorous official training to a high level aimed at professionals who want to specialise in the field of information technology security. The master’s course offers general skills covering the vulnerabilities of security in information systems, how to protect such systems, and aspects of national and international legislation related to the field of security.

The Ramon Molinas Foundation and the Open University of Catalonia will announce the eight successful applications on 31^st July.
