Members of BarcelonActua, the Pare Manel Foundation and the Itaca Educational Association will take part in the initiative.
Eleven university students will benefit from the RMF: Scholarship in English for young adults at the British Council over the second academic term of 2017-2018. The initiative offers English language classes to high-achieving, motivated university students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds. The recipients will attend classes at the British Council centre in Barcelona, where they will have access to all of the educational materials that the British Council provides to its students.
The young people selected come from organisations that work in the field of social action. Students with BAC Scholarships from BarcelonActua, as well as members of the Pare Manel Foundation and the Itaca Educational Association, will receive personalised classes based on their level, widening their opportunities abroad and developing their communication skills in a programme taught by native English teachers.
Since 2014, the Ramon Molinas Foundation has offered a total of 118 scholarships, guaranteeing talented young people from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds access to high-quality English language courses.
