The entity will collaborate with the Mental Illness Foundation of Catalonia in order to promote the employment of this collective.

Ramon Molinas Foundation has joined forces with those of the Mental Illness Foundation of Catalonia in order to protect people who suffer from serious mental disorders and happen to be in a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability. The collaboration between both foundations intends to promote the social integration of this collective through their labour insertion through a series of processes to stimulate their autonomy.

To avoid the situation of poverty of this collective, in the first place the program intends to guarantee and extend in time the coverage of the basic needs of their users. Once covered this lack, the entity has devised a set of measures for their training and correct insertion in the society. The project, referred so as to be carried out in a long term, will count on with the supervision of social workers, the counselling of municipal councils, and will mobilize soup kitchens and adult schools.

The initiative was born after the Mental Illness Foundation of Catalonia detected how year after year the number of their users in a delicate socioeconomic situation increased: users who have little autonomy, are legally incapacitated, and have as sole income a small contributory benefit.
