A dozen university students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds will benefit from the initiative during their first term of the academic year 2017-2018.

Under the name de RMF: Scholarship in English for young adults at the British Council 2017-2018, the Ramon Molinas Foundation has renewed the scholarship programme providing English training for high-achieving, motivated university students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds. The students will attend class at the British Council centre in Barcelona and have access to all the educational materials that the organisation makes available to its students.

The young people selected come from organisations that work in the field of social action, those awarded BAC Scholarships from BarcelonActua and the Pare Manel Foundation will enjoy personalised tuition according to their academic ability, be able to amplify their international opportunities and develop their communication skills in English in a programme with native teachers.

From the year 2014, the Ramon Molinas Foundation has offered a total of 96 scholarships to talented young people from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds to guarantee access to quality English training.
