The entity, promoted by the Fundació Pare Manel, promotes the social integration of children and young ones through Futsal.

The Ramon Molinas Foundation returns to strengthen partnerships with the Fundación Pare Manel. After subsidizing the cost of the Casal Comedor Intercultural in its 2013 edition, the RMF will bear almost a third of the annual budget of the Asociación Deportiva Babar, a project meant to promote the social integration of children and young ones through the practice of Futsal.

The Asociación Deportiva Babar fights against the social exclusion of children and young ones from the neighbourhoods of Guineueta, Canyelles, Roquetes, Verdum and Trinitat Nova through the practice of Futsal. The entity has 16 teams composed by 184 players aged between 6 and 18.

Through sports, the participants work on values such as responsibility, respect, friendship, equality or creativity. Futsal enables them to a personal development due to the physical, psychological and socializing benefits of the practice of this sport. Besides, the association empowers the participation of the family in the social life of the club in order to create a network of relationships and coexistence among the families, the players, and the technical staff.

The program counts on with the work of 37 people among trainers, delegates, coordinators and collaborators, and is carried out at the Complex Esportiu La Guineueta, at the track of the CEIP Aiguamarina, at the track of the Escola Antaviana, and at the track of the Escola Turó de Roquetes.
