The Ramon Molinas Foundation has extended the number of grants for the RMF: Scholarship in English for young learners at the British Council during this academic year. A total of 18 new students have joined the programme which promotes the continued education of advanced English with the objective of encouraging the social integration of young people who achieve academic excellence and have great ability, but also come from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds.
41 students will be able to take advantage of the programme created and organised by the Ramon Molinas Foundation and the British Council and with the collaboration of the Government of Catalonia Department of Education, during the academic year 2015-2016. The students who enrol on the RMF: Scholarship in English for young learners at the British Council will be able to benefit from the advantages which come with learning and perfecting the English language.
In addition, the agreement between RMF, the British Council and the Catalonia Department of Education will grant them the opportunity to transform the environment in which they develop, through interacting with new classmates in the institution’s Bonanova centre. The programme consists of 90 hours of in-house classes which the students can choose according to their timetables, and the grant can be extended for the coming years as long as they continue to make the most of it.
