The action has enabled to improve the virtual and personal assistance to support cancer patients.

The agreement between Ramon Molinas Foundation and Aves Association has fulfilled all expectations by far. After eight months of collaboration, the entity has created and is implementing the forum satisfactorily, which will little by little enable to establish a community of users that can relate with the association and among themselves. This fact will bring about the establishment of mutual support groups for the users who suffer from the disease as well as for their relatives, or for those people who have suffered the loss of a loved one. Currently, thanks to this new tool it is already possible to debate and share impressions or knowledge on the disease. Besides, other tabs have been added on the forum, about other diseases or pathologies such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, multiple chemical sensitivity, or strokes.

On the other hand, the collaboration between both institutions has enabled to improve the phone care for those sick ones who due to various reasons cannot move to face meetings programmed by Aves. In this sense, the performance has enabled to guarantee the calls for the individualized care and follow up of all the users.

Finally, regarding the improvement of the face activities of the care network for cancer patients that Aves offers, the level rise of the psychological support has been achieved, as well as the increase of assiduity of the users in meeting requests.
