Both entities will start the program Opening Doors in order to promote the social integration of women with economic difficulties.

Ramon Molinas Foundation allies again with Fundació Surt in order to promote the social integration of women with economic difficulties. After developing successfully the program Open Doors to the Future, this year both entities will start the Opening Doors project.

Opening Doors is a program of social care and empowerment that intends to be a useful tool for all those users from the entity who have lost their support networks and are unprotected. The main aim of the program, which foresees to attend 150 people, is to improve the life quality of the beneficiaries. In order to materialize this purpose, Fundació Surt has designed a set of actions that go from social care, the establishment of empowerment groups, technical training, career guidance, the creation of a solidarity network, or the offer of social inclusion housing.

The project was born to extend the program Open Doors to the Future. Fundació Surt detected an increasing demand from women who were in critical economic situations and thus driven to poverty and vulnerability. This fact provoked a decay of their emotional state that obstructed any improvement. The entity thought appropriate to start a program in order to provide the necessary tools so that their situation could gradually improve.

Fundació Surt was born in 1993 and its aim since then is to build a society with gender equality: a society where men and women are equal in rights and opportunities, without discrimination or subordination.
