Both entities start the program Open Doors to the Future in order to promote the integration of those women who suffer the havoc of the crisis.

Ramon Molinas Foundation has started together with Fundació Surt the program Open Doors to the Future. The aim of the collaboration is to promote the social integration of those women that are in situation of economic difficulty due to the current context.

The program will be carried out between January and June, and will supply support tools and specific resources so that the beneficiaries can face their situations of economic, social and emotional emergency. Besides, it will work in order to empower their self-esteem through innovative actions of empowerment.

The project was born after Fundació Surt detected an increase of the demand of women who were in critical economic situations. The entity found out that due to this circumstance, the women were driven to poverty and vulnerability, and suffered a decay of their emotional state. From Fundació Surt and RMF, it was thought appropriate to boost a program in order to provide them the necessary tools so as to improve their situation progressively.

Fundació Surt was born in 1993 and since then its aim has been to build a society with gender equity: a society in which men and women are equal in rights and opportunities, without discrimination or subordination.
