The programme will offer a total of 31 scholarships to university students from backgrounds with socioeconomic difficulties over the academic year.
Ten university students will benefit from the RMF: Scholarship in English for young adults at the British Council over the final term of the academic year 2017-2018. The objective of the program is to provide English language classes to high-achieving, motivated university students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds.
The young people selected come from organisations that work in the field of social action. Students with BAC Scholarships from BarcelonActua, as well as members of the Pare Manel Foundation and the Itaca Educational Association, will receive personalised classes based on their level, widening their opportunities abroad and developing their communication skills in a programme taught by native English teachers.
Over the course of the academic year, the RMF: Scholarship in English for young adults at the British Council programme will have offered a total of 31 scholarships. Since 2014, the Ramon Molinas Foundation has offered a total of 128 scholarships, guaranteeing talented young people from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds access to high-quality English language courses.
