The RMF and the Fundación Cibervoluntarios join to promote the usage of the TICs among people with functional diversity and dependence.

The Ramon Molinas Foundation will propel together with the Fundación Cibervoluntarios the program Integra en red, an initiative to promote the use of TICs among people with functional diversity and dependence. The program, in force during all 2013, will consist in carrying out a set of training actions with the aim of using technological tools such as the Internet or mobile phones to improve the quality of life of these collectives.

In Integra en red there will be courses or workshops meant to form and promote the use of tools such as: the Internet, e-mails, videoconferences, or social networks. People with functional diversity, over 55 years old with dependence, relatives of dependents and personnel of associations linked to the world of dependence will be the recipients of the action that will adapt and provide to these collectives all the technology according to their social, labor, educative, communicative or citizen participation needs with the aim of enlarging their capacities and opportunities within their environment.

Integra en red wishes to form and help 250 people from 8 different regions through the 1,500 volunteers that the Fundación Cibervoluntarios has in Spain. The entity, formed by social entrepreneurs, promotes the use and knowledge of the new communication and information technologies as a mean to palliate the sociodigital exclusion. With more than 12 years of history, the Fundación Cibervoluntarios received recognition for the ‘creation of new ways of social participation and innovation in supporting the collectives at risk of social exclusion’ from the Princes of Asturias, and the economic and social recognition from google.org, the first one the company granted in Spain.
